Kevin Hart is too funny! Tickets for the Feb. I think if you can make either one you should go. Although I’m suppose to be on a tighter budget this year, how many times does something like this come up?! So yeah, I’ll just cut back on dinners out and seeing pointless movies cause I’m bored and that should make up for it. I’m excited cause I haven’t did anything out the ordinary in sooooo long, so this will be good. That will be my second chance to get the pictures. Funnyman Kevin Hart is BACK and starring in the theatrical version of his 2011 LAUGH AT MY PAIN comedy tour that swept the nation and earned more than 15,000,000 in ticket sales The 90-city LAUGH AT MY PAIN tour is one of the most successful Comedy Concerts in history. Then if that doesn’t work I will be going to see him later on March 10 th at the school (Eastern Michigan University). I hope to take pictures (including a picture with Kevin Hart himself) and to post them later. I will get to see what all the new jokes are about and I hope he brings along the new hottest rapper out, Chocolate Droppa! (CD!!! REAL RAP RAW! lol). Experience the show that quickly became a national phenomenon, and get an up close and personal look at Kevin Hart back in Philly, where. ![]() Sometimes edgy and always hilarious, comedian Kevin Hart shines in this theatrical version of his record-breaking 2011 live tour. Now he’s going to be in Columbus, OH on Feb. Yes Kevin Hart: Laugh at My Pain (2011) is available on Netflix United States. His self-deprecating sex jokes are gross, graphic and genuinely funny, his candour admirable, his timing razor-sharp, but there’s nothing really new here, and certainly nothing that could be construed as particularly moving, perceptive or elevating.Yes!!! Finally I am going to see Kevin Hart live! I missed him when he was in Detroit and when he was in Chicago (really would have loved to see him in Chicago). Laugh at My Pain racks up just 87 minutes, and a good 25 of those are devoted to a mock-doc account of the diminutive comic’s return to his old Philadelphia neighbourhood, where he’s treated as homecoming royalty by his working-class family and former school swimming and basketball coaches, but ignored by everyone else, and a wonky Reservoir Dogs spoof that seems more like a half-hearted audition reel than inspired parody.Ĭiting Eddie Murphy as his standup hero, Hart, who’s something of a Youtube phenomenon, comes across as a perversely sympathetic figure, playing, as he does, on the less than fortunate circumstances of a troubled childhood - an abusive, drug-addicted father, an unassertive mother, recently deceased, and rough treatment because of his size - to build a frantic, expletive-loaded routine that smacks of rage, revenge and redemption. The backers of the feature movie Kevin Hart: Laugh at My Pain have correctly assumed enough fans of the enormously popular American comedian would be willing to pay box-office bucks for what is essentially the kind of made-for-TV concert special that’s the staple of Canada’s The Comedy Network and Comedy Central in the U.S.īased on a live performance filmed at Los Angeles’s Nokia Theatre earlier this year, it cost just $750,000 to make, but has already grossed more than $7 million in the U.S. 18 at AMC Yonge-Dundas, Interchange and Kennedy Commons.
